Nairobi United Drawn in Group B of CAF Confederation Cup
Nairobi United have been drawn in Group B of the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup, where they will face North African giants Wydad Casablanca (Morocco), AS Maniema Union (DR Congo), and Tanzanian outfit Azam FC. Group stage matches are set to kick off on the weekend of November 21–23, 2025, with two rounds scheduled before the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025. The competition will then pause for the continental showpiece before resuming on the weekend of January 23–25, 2026. Nairobi United’s qualification for the group stage marks a historic milestone in the club’s young journey. Having earned promotion to the SportPesa League last season, the team defied expectations by clinching a domestic cup double, the National Super League and Mozzart Bet Cup, before sealing their place among Africa’s elite through an impressive Confederation Cup qualifying campaign. Now, the Kenyan side will look to continue their fairytale run on the continental stage, with fixtures against some of Africa’s most experienced clubs offering a perfect test of their growing pedigree.
